It was peaceful, quiet, safe, very clean, everything worked so well, it was beautiful oceanfront I could see the ocean from my bed… I call this my perfect hideout from the busyness of life. I feel so relaxed and will definitely go again… it’s the best kept secret. I came here after reading the reviews and for sure the view is breathtaking! I couldn’t take enough pictures and videos. From the living room and bedroom balcony you see the oceanfront. I was looking for a great view and this did the trick. The high ceilings and amazing shower and bathtub were a plus. Electric fireplace in bedroom was great! I just love this place. The owners were so gracious and amazing in communication. You must try this place. “

"My husband and I along with another couple had an amazing stay. The villa is well appointed. Beds are extremely comfortable. Views so incredible that words are hard to find to describe. The boys spent their morning diving at Avalon Dive Park while the ladies couldn't peel themselves away from the patio and mimosas. Would absolutely recommend staying here. One thing to keep in mind, the villa is down quite a few staircases. But definitely worth the effort!"

"Sad to leave! Sometimes the real thing doesn’t match up to photos, but in this case the real thing was even better! The view from the condo was SPECTACULAR. The condo had everything we needed. Falling asleep to the crashing waves in a super comfortable bed provided the most peaceful sleep. The golf cart was fantastic. All 6 of us fit comfortably and it was a convenient way to tour the town. I booked our family trip for next year before we even left the condo. Can’t wait for a repeat of a wonderful vacation!"

Amber is absolutely amazing! We've just booked our stay and had to make a change after confirmation. Amber was absolutely wonderful to work with and completely accommodating. There are not enough words allowed in this review to explain in detail how amazing this experience was. We stayed in the "penthouse" and received everything communicated we would and way more. The feeling of comfort and home is hard to advertise, but the "penthouse" felt like staying with family that made space for us to enjoy. The decor is a vibe in itself. Trust me when I tell you to set your alarm for the sunrise, just open a window, and enjoy. I almost don't want anyone to know about this place so that I can keep it open for my bookings, but this one needs to be experienced.

I stayed in their "penthouse" condo in Hamilton Cove and it was an amazing experience! The hosts were great, the condo was terrific, and it comes with its own golf cart which makes getting around the island a breeze! Highly recommend!

We stayed at building 18 villa 68. The view from that unit is amazing. The patio is a wrapped-around patio where one side has the view of the ocean while the other side has the view of the Hamilton Cove hillside houses with the ocean view. Amber is extremely helpful, nice and responding to my messages promptly. The villa 1868 is clean, very spacious, and has all the basic essentials. It is midway therefore, there are quite a few steps to go down. Overall, I highly recommend staying here.

Our stay at the Catalina Island Vacations condo was nothing short of magical! From the moment we set foot in the door, we were enveloped with an atmosphere of luxury, comfort and breathtaking views! The condo is a gem! Elegantly furnished, extremely clean and equipped with every amenity one could ask for! What truly sets this condo apart is its location! Perched on a hillside with panoramic views of the ocean was mesmerizing! Sipping coffee and wine on the balcony became a daily ritual! Every evening the sunsets seemed more beautiful than the day before. The bedrooms are havens of tranquility from the bedding to the hand-picked island décor. It is evident that the owners respect and support Catalina Island artists because every art piece is from the island and its local artists! Our stay at the Catalina Dream Vacations condo was a 5-star experience in every way! It exceeded our expectations and we left with memories to last a lifetime. We are certainly returning to this island paradise in the very near future! We highly recommend it!

Firstly, the views are beyond breathtaking - untouched and truly mesmerizing. Our family of five felt right at home in the spacious villa. The beds were not only comfortable but also made for a restful night's sleep, ensuring we were ready to explore the wonders of the island each day. The kitchen is a dream, and we loved the large kitchen table, where we had the most memorable family dinners with panoramic views as our backdrop. And here's the kicker - our absolute favorite part was being able to hear the waves crashing from every room in the house. It added an incredible coastal ambiance that made our stay even more special. Having explored various rentals in the area, I can confidently say, not all villas are the same. This one is a hidden gem! A great host paired with an amazing location. A++

This trip to Catalina was a bucket list trip - Catalina Jazz Festival! When making reservations online, i often wonder if the place will be as nice as the photos. Well, in this case, the actual place looks exactly like the photos .... BEAUTIFUL for sure. Everything worked, everything was there, the Golf cart was perfect and the 4 of us had a great time. I would highly recommend Catalina Dream Vacations when thinking about staying on Catalina. Vern

The owner and team at Catalina Dream Vacations were the absolute best! We've gone to Catalina Island numerous times and always stay at Hamilton Cove but this has to be "The" best experience ever! We stayed in the Penthouse #8-97. It was immaculate. Extremely clean and relaxing. My family loved it and can't wait to go back! We'll stay at least 2-3 days next time.

The views are spectacular! This was our second year in a row staying here with our adult kids. It’s about as close to paradise as you can get. We spent most of the time on the balcony when we weren’t swimming and going into town. The 6 seater golf cart made enjoying all of Avalon convenient. The condo had everything we needed. The owner was very understanding and accommodating when our trip got postponed a few days due to the crazy hurricane. Highly recommend! We can’t wait to return!

What an experience! So close but far enough away! Beautiful home away from home! Now I know!!!

My wife and I had visited catalina back in April of 2021 and stayed in town for a couple of days. This time around, we were looking for an even better experience and ultimate time. We searched through various hotels to stay, but couldn't find the difference maker, until we came across this gorgeous condo in Hamilton cove, unit 97. Talk about breath taking views, the sound of the ocean at your balcony, the fresh ocean air and slight breeze, it was perfect. We immediately took advantage of the private beach and went for a swim and snorkled amongst the many fish and aquatic life Catalina coast has to offer, before settling into our stay. We utilized the golf cart on premises and was able to drive into town to do some grocery shopping and come back to our place and throw meat on the grill and BBQ right off the balcony while enjoying a glass of wine. After sharing a delicious meal with an amazing view, we went to the pool and jacuzzi and hung out there for a bit, until driving back into town for some ice cream. We loved our stay and wish it could have been longer, and are planning our next trip and stay here, at this particular residence. It's worth every single penny. Thankful we got to experience this awesome trip and condo. Highly/extremely recommended.

First of all, this place is immaculately taken care of. It was very clean and spacious for our family of six. We were all very comfortable with the sleeping arrangements and amenities. We thoroughly enjoyed the breathtaking views from the HUGE balcony and could see the cruise ships as they came and left the island. There is a private beach a few flights of stairs below where the kids enjoyed swimming. The pool is very close to the unit as well, and the kids really enjoyed that too. Our Hosts Amber and Anna were very responsive with any questions we had and the communication was top notch before, during and after our stay. I highly recommend this spot to anyone visiting the island. Thank you for the stay!

Where to begin! Our family has stayed at all 4 of the beautiful, Catalina Dream Vacations villas. This time, we stayed at #97. It's a cozy, yet spacious one bedroom (sleeps 4) with fabulous views of the crystal clear waters. Lots of balcony space (2 balconies) for outdoor dining/lounging. The decor is super nice, Pottery Barn/beachy theme. Very clean too! The owners are awesome & always available if/when you need them. We definitely recommend Catalina Dream Vacations to all of our friends & anyone curious about where to stay on the island! Catalina has lots to offer & is a great vacation destination.

We stayed at a villa run by Catalina Dream Vacations and we had the best time! Check in was super easy, they sent tips for taxis, etc, before arriving, which made it even better. Our location came with a golf cart, which I HIGHLY recommend. We will definitely be back.
